Sunset Shores is truly a magical getaway on the Oregon Coast! Its furnishings and decorations are modern and beautiful! The beds are extremely comfortable, and there is more than enough seating in every living area. We loved the setup of this house- the bunk room is on the second floor, so after children went to bed, adults could still hang out upstairs with a tv, and teenagers on the bottom floor in the tv/game room. The kitchen is HUGE and our party of 13 had plenty of space to hangout and eat. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything we needed to cook all week. Washer and dryer, and outside shower to rinse sand off were great features! Plus this house has 4 showers! Amazing for large groups or family reunions. It was stocked with games, beach towels, and a foosball table. The house is located just over the dunes from the beach, so it’s a short 2 minute walk and then you have what feels like a private beach to yourselves! We absolutely loved this location which is why we will keep coming back! Also located down the road from the cutest new candy/ice cream shop! I want to tell everyone about this house but then I don’t, so I can have it all to myself! Thank you Sunset Shores for a week full of memories!

Loved staying at this rental last weekend! There was space for the whole extended family and then some! Lots of space for kids to play and adults to enjoy. There are so many hidden spaces to relax in the home. The kids loved getting to sleep all together in the bunk room and playing foosball all day! The kitchen was massive and had everything we needed. So many windows gave it great natural light even on cloudy days! Everything was clean and beautifully decorated. A true retreat and oasis, home away from home! It is a short 3 minute walk to a private beach that was perfect for playing all day with the kids. Sand dunes and tide pools are minutes away by car. We can't wait to come back!

Perfect accommodations. We had such a great stay we extended for 2 extra nights. This location was a close easy walk to the beach and the wagons provided made packing up walking down to the beach easy. The open layout of the house helped us stay together during meal time and play for our little one. The house was clean and well stocked with extra towels, blankets, kitchen supplies. The house is right next to the main gate so you see all the traffic coming in and out but it wasn’t a concern for us. We will definitely stay again.

5 of us went for a spring break getaway, and it was great. Weather wasn\'t awesome, but it\'s the Oregon coast, so what can you do about that... it was fun. Our only complaint was that there was 3 coffee makers, but no coffee beans or roast, or cups for the Keurig machine? And the heating system does work well downstairs... it was cold. But nothing a couple blankets and a run to the store can\'t fix. All in all, we had a great time.

What\'s not to love about this place? We had enough room for everyone without feeling at all crowded, the kitchen is fantastic! THREE full bathrooms? Yes!! Views from every angle, games, puzzles, ping pong & foozeball! and so much more! My favorite room had to be the Whale Watch room upstairs! I loved enjoying my morning cuppa staring out the windows taking it all in! We had such a great time and we cannot wait to come back!!

It's tough to find a beach vacation house that checks all the boxes. You start with a view but from there are inevitable shortcomings...elegance of the house itself, comfort of gathering areas, adequate kitchen, quality of amenities... Catoor has all of this. The living space is commodious, the kitchen one where we even took design notes for ourselves (along with the best appliances/ kitchenware we've ever found) while the baths and amenities were luxurious. Finally, Open Nest was much a personal concierge the couple of times we called. All in all, it was probably the best rental experience we've ever had.

There is something for every age to love about Pacific Watch. There are large gathering areas between the main living room and two expansive decks, one facing the gorgeous, wide ocean view and one facing the layers of treed hills. For those looking for a bit of retreat privacy, this home offers several places to pull away inside and out. The spectacular whale watch room on the third floor is such a great place to begin and end the day perching on stools at the high bar table at the window. Watch every sunrise and sunset from this quiet 360 degree view. Kids will have fun being exuberant in the downstairs foosball area or ping pong room. This beach home has generous windows everywhere. Wherever you look, it’s just a treat. The beach is so close, and takes you to great coffee and food. Loved that!

There is tons of space and separation so everyone could enjoy what they wanted in the moment and then come together in the great room. Each morning, my wife and I had coffee in the top room with 360 degree windows and a glass of wine at night. Our kids had bunks in the bottom floor with movies, foosball and ping pong so they always had something to do. The kitchen, great room, and dining area is a spread, so all of us were able to get popcorn for movie time after the amazing sunsets. One day we walked down the beach to explore the cape and get treats. It\'s an awesome house for everyone and in the perfect location. I highly recommend it!

The Oregon Coast has so much to offer and Haven Hill is the perfect base of operations! Property: The property itself is so nice! Super clean, fully stocked kitchen and the house is HUGE! They have a gorgeous balcony and a fire pit to watch the sunset or start the day! Location: It’s close to all kinds of awesome coastal hikes. Pacific City is just a few minutes away! Do yourself a favor and head to Bob Straub or Neskowin, we avoided the crowds and had the best time!

This home has it all and is perfect for multiple families! Wonderful open living, kitchen and dining room with views out every window. Epic ocean scenery and Pacific City\'s Haystack Rock out the front windows! - Roku TV and big couches great for movie night. First floor has a second living room with TV, foosball table and Ping Pong table in the garage! Kids are sure to have a blast :) - Nice large kitchen so multiple people can cook at the same time. - Great master suite with king size bed that is extremely comfortable; we slept amazing. Everyone else also slept great in the other beds. - Enjoy your coffee each morning with fabulous views; front balcony looking onto the ocean, back balcony looking onto the cascade mountains, and up in the whale watch room with even better views of the ocean! - There are some fun games in the main living room and closet as well. - Beach access is a very short walk from the house making daily walks and beach days super easy. You can also walk down to Pacific City for some great food at the Pelican, Stimulus Coffee, and Ben\'s and Jeff\'s. We didn\'t want to leave and are all looking forward to coming back!

We stayed here Feb 2022. Upon our arrival my husband had to spend an hour on getting the north overhead garage door to open. Lots of wood in garage with nails upon getting out of your vehicle once you get it in the garage. South facing picturesque window has broken string to lift blind. Broken tempeture setting on oven. Hot tub not working. Beds are extremely uncomfortable. Windows were filthy with no screens on any windows in the home. And to top is all off there is a homeless person just below the deck that has pitched a very large tent and looks like it has been there for quite sometime. Did not feel safe leaving any windows or front door opened along with the constant stinch of Marijuana smoke coming from the tent that you can smell when you are on the deck. The only great thing about this home was the view in which you had to go outside to appreciate it do to the broken blind not lifting and the nice and quiet pretty neighborhood.

We absolutely love this house. It’s perfect for my husband and me plus our two sweet dogs. We’ve stayed here several times over the past few years but when they added the hot tub a couple of years ago, it really elevated this home. Just a few steps to the beach, and a short stroll to Cape Kiwanda, the Pelican Brewery, Ben and Jeff’s Tacos, wonderful bakery, and sweet little grocery store. Fun to watch the dories and the surfers launch and land from the wide and picturesque sandy beach. We already have reservations to come back to Beachlovers Getaway in July and after that, I know we will be renting this house a couple of times every year until we are lucky enough to buy something in Pacific City, the most charming beach town in Oregon.

Another year another say at our favorite get away. This house is so beautiful and a joy to stay in. Spacious and homey. The showers and tubs are huge and great to take a soak in. You cant go wrong with this place as a choice.

If you want spectacular view of the ocean and close proximity to the beach, this is the place to go! You\'ll also enjoy a great view of Pacific City and the river from the back windows. The house itself is roomy and provides several comfortable and private bedrooms to accommodate a large group. The house is clean and well-maintained. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay there and plan to go back again in the near future.

We can't say enough good things about our stay at Pacific Watch! The beautiful views from every window, front and back were such a treat! We enjoyed the decks: and noticed the owner has put a brand new grill on the back one...next time! I loved the well equipped kitchen, it even has a crock pot, which I used. There's even a high chair for our grandson! It seems like the owner has thought of everything! We appreciated how close the beach is to the house and were able to enjoy some long walks on it, and also enjoyed the puzzles. I found our bed and the pillows very comfy, and I'm picky. Our family will be returning to Pacific Watch for sure! Highly recommend! (Especially if bringing kids!)

This beach house has very comfortable beds,nice kitchen,and comfy couches! It felt very clean and well maintained. The whale watch room has incredible views of the ocean and the surrounding coastal mountains. On New Years eve it was amazing to be in that room and see the local fireworks all around us. This house was amazing for our family! It was the best of both worlds for both adults and kids. The two separate TV areas, games, large 2nd floor, and peaceful watch tower ensured we all had the unique experience we wanted. We had more than enough sleeping options and we were impressed with the clean and comfortable bedrooms. The huge kitchen was a major plus for our larger group and there was plenty of seating in every room in the house. Incredible memories and tons of fun!

Haven Hill is the perfect get-a-way for a peaceful time down at the coast. Very easy to find thanks to the signage, and couldn\'t have been happier with what this home has to offer. Amazing views we could stare at for hours, plus great quality furniture and amenities that made our stay feel luxurious. Unfortunately a bit cold to visit the beach when we stayed, but it\'s only a short drive away and the home stayed nice and toasty for our whole visit. This house is definitely on our go-to list anytime we feel the urge to visit the Oregon Coast!

Overall I highly recommend this home the views are unparalleled and a home is nicely laid out with a reverse floor plan you can enjoy the views from the top floor. The elevator was a godsend for getting luggage and coolers up to the top floor. A little attention to detail in the form of dusting wouldn't hurt however in general everything was very clean. I recommend washing any dish before using it to guarantee that they've been sanitized I found a few dirty dishes in the silverware drawer so we wash them all. It was a small glitch at check-in I called and it was immediately taken care of very much appreciated. We would love to stay in this beautiful home again next year for our vacation. Given a sleeping amenities this was a great value. Conveniently located between Depoe Bay and Lincoln City shopping was easy and there was a local tavern just up the road that had fantastic BLTs if you don't feel like cooking.

We had a great time at A Bit of R&R. We had 2 families - 7 people. We played lots of games, had great food, and loved our time on the beach. Favorite things: Every bedroom having it's own bathroom, hot tub, fire pit, 2 living spaces. Could be Improved: The shower curtain in the kid's bathroom was ripped quite badly, the upstairs double bed was very noisy, the trek to the beach wasn't super clear in the description (lots of stairs) - it worked for us, but people with mobility issues would do well to be aware - there is other, easier access to the beach a short drive away. They have a "starter pack" of dishwash and laundry pods - bring your own or you'll need to head to the store for more if you stay more than a couple of days. Overall, we had a wonderful time, the house was great and comfortable, nicely decorated, well-suited for a larger group, multiple families, kids. Would definitely recommend.

We come to the coast at least twice a year and rent a larger house each time. This house had plenty of linen for all the beds and plenty of extra linen and blankets if needed. There was also plenty of towels in all the bathrooms. Each bathroom had two rolls of toilet paper with a total of we bought extra and ended up needing them. The kitchen wasn’t as stocked as we had hoped. There were no pot holders so we purchased some and left at the house. There were only four hand towels, no rags for wiping down counters. Only two small rolls of paper towels. The kitchen table was very sticky all over. The wood floors were not moped before our arrival. Within a couple hours of running around bare foot our feet were black. Their page states there are board games but the closet with games was a mess, didn’t even want to try and find a game. The wash machine agitar did not spin so when we did do one load of laundry it dis not spin out, we had to manually ring out clothes. The beds were a little hard and could use a mattress pad. The wifi was not working the first day so I called the customer service number and they said management would contact me and they never did. I called the next day and the lady was wonderful. The passcode they sent me via email was incorrect so she gave me the correct one. With a few improvements this place would be even better.

We absolutely loved the stay. Booked this place for wife's birthday using promotion from Half Price Portland (otherwise wouldn't be able to afford). Was able to see whales directly from the front window. The bay down the cliff was awesome for kids. I'd definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants to enjoy coast view without going out. Wish we could stay longer. Will totally come back at next opportunity.

Really enjoyed our stay at Aster. Thr recent remodeling looks great. There are many little touches to make you feel comfortable. I was especially impressed with the kitchen which included lots of dishes, glasses and utensils. We watched the sunset over the ocean as we ate our dinner.

We love this spot for its charm, views, and super convenient location just a few blocks from the beach. Very clean with a nice layout and has all the elements needed for a relaxing weekend. The owner clearly takes very good care of the house and has put a lot of thought into setting things up so its comfortable and has all the supplies needed. We will definitely come back!

What a lovely cabin with an amazing view of the beach! The location just blocks from the beach and the sunset from the dining room windows cannot be beat. We were looking for a space to surprise our husbands for Fathers Day. Depoe Day is one of their favorite places to go, due to Covid-19 our usual place to stay was closed so we chose Bay Echo. I have to say we were nervous booking a place we knew nothing about. When we pulled up to Bay Echo we were even more nervous because the outside looked very run down and old. It is located on top of an older shopping center, I wasn't sure what we saw online would be what we saw when we walked in. After walking down a outside hallway that could use new carpet. We found ourselves fighting with the lockbox, however I think that was more user error than anything. Once we opened the door to the unit, I was convinced that we made the right choice. The unit looked exactly like it did online. The view is breathtaking and captures your attention right away. The two bedrooms downstairs were good sizes and had enough room for a couple to be very comfortable. The loft upstairs was perfect for the children. They had their own bathroom with shower upstairs, and plenty of room to play. The children were having so much fun in their own space we only saw them when it was time to eat. I would suggest more fans in the unit because it gets very hot. I would recommend having a bigger TV (even though we didn't really watch it). Not sure if a BBQ grill could be add to the patio but outside cooking would have been nice due to the nice weather and how hot the unit got. Everything we needed was provided, from a closet full of games, to movies and even beach chairs. I would also recommend more towels being added for the purpose of going to the beach. Otherwise we will be back as soon as it isn't booked up. We tried to book again before we left and it was taken.

Booked this property not knowing much about it. We wanted to get away for a couple days. I have to admit I was nervous and even more nervous when I pulled up to the property. The outside was run down and could use a paint job. The carpet that lead to the town home was old and stained. I had know idea what I would find on the inside being how bad the outside looked. I now believe you should never judge a book by its cover. This property was amazing. The view was awesome the furnishing were great as well. I thought one bedroom would have a bathroom but it didn’t and we worked it out. The upstairs loft was perfect for the kids. They loved having their own space away from the adults. Getting on to WiFi was easy and it worked great. The bedding was nice, but the pillows were horrible. Being that you have large windows it gets very warm in the townhome and the townhome does not have air conditioning, therefore more the one fan should be provided because it gets even more warm when you start cooking and the ceiling fan alone doesn’t keep the place cool. When I tell you there were many surprises I was not expecting. The beach chairs, closet full of games and the movie selection under the TV it was set up very nicely. I gave 5 stars and what would make it 6 for me? Bigger TV, more then one fan, better pillows, and better shower heads. I would stay here again matter fact I tried to book again before I left and it was already booked.

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights. It was a wonderful getaway ever! Even one of the nights we had a power outage and we got no candles or any sort of light other than our cell phone. One wished I hope that the condos have hairdryer in one of the bathrooms and the bathtub drain a little bit quicker. Other than that everything was wonderful and we will be back next year.

This place has it all! The condo is stocked with anything and everything! We stayed 9 days total. We were scheduled to leave after 7 days but we loved it so much we added a couple days. The view can't be beat. The shops are directly under you. I brought my Mom and her hubby with my 3 year old. Mom had never seen the ocean before. All three of us are disabled but this location made it easy to see and do a lot, not always the case. I cant give a higher rating but we hope to come back here!

An amazing condo right at the seawall in Depoe Bay. We sat in the very comfortable living room and watched whales just yards away; and not just one or two sightings but many a day! In the good weather we watched from the spacious oceanfront deck. The condo itself is beautiful and comfortable. Easy walk to many restaurants and a local brewpub. Highly recommend.

Our stay at the "Bay Echo" was Great ! We were able to walk everywhere, all the shops, eateries and whale watching. Bonus.. we sat on the deck and saw a humpback Mom & calf right in the little cove across the street. AWESOME ! King mattress was comfortable, we had to search the rooms for pillows that were not so puffy, but we found them. No a/c but the fan works great. Linens, crockery, furniture, overall cleanliness we'd give a 4.5 overall. We had a Great stay ! Thank you !

We had to clean any dishes we wanted to use, the table, counters, end tables covers w/ crumbs and food. Washed the bedding just to make sure after seeing the rest of the house. After that it was a great stay. Best sleep away from home we've had. Bed had a memory foam on it. Great access to the beach and great views from the house.

What a perfect place to stay! The home is warm and cozy and has all the things you could ever need! When you walk outside you are little rally steps away from the ocean. And what is more perfect than that?! My husband and I enjoyed our stay and plan to return to this specific home. The location is so close to everything as well and you can easily drive to where you are wanting to go in a matter of minutes! Definitely recommend!

Loved it! And considering it was a comp offer when our original had problems, and our dog had never been to the beach before, wow! It really met our needs. WiFi is a little tricky as the signin is on the modem. Not the directions. And the black box on top is the lock box for the place. One less star. Because you can really afford a new coffee pot at these rates. ?? That’s it!!

Second time now renting this home. The setting is just about perfect. Just a few rock hewn steps down to the beach. Panorama windows on the ocean side, so the ocean is never out of site. The garage is actually usable at this property (not all that common in our experience. Friendly to our blind doggy. Easy access to shopping (Safeway is about three minutes drive). Plan to make this our regular annual (or more frequent as able) coast visit. Only down side this trip, the beach is almost nothing but sand. Our favorite mornings are beach walking and agate hunting. Certainly not anyone's fault.

We had a wonderful time at this rental. The advantages of staying here, in my opinion, are: Pets allowed, fenced yard, garage, beach front - large windows that looks out onto the beach, a beautiful beach to walk on, and great hiking trails nearby. A few things that could have been improved are: Trim weeds and stickers on the steps leading down to the beach, mow the lawn, update toaster, & a bar-be-cue would be nice. Other than that, it's great and I hope to come back next year.

We had a very nice stay at this clean and well maintained house. Our 2 small dogs enjoyed the fenced in front yard. The only complaint we had was the way down to the beach. The "walkway" was so scary I didn't even attempt it. Great view of the beach and ocean though.

The Beach House is amazing! The views and beach access cannot be beat in Lincoln City! The pictures do not do this house justice. It is well laid out with stunning sunset views from both the living room and back deck. Both downstairs bedrooms also have ocean views. It is well stocked, clean, and comfortable. It felt like home, and we hated to leave! Can't wait to go back!

This is such a cute and comfortable home! I brought my kids here as soon as school let out for the summer. We are in the middle of the COVID pandemic and this was the perfect place to reward them after working so hard for months of quarantine and home school. The couches and beds were so comfortable and warm, and there was plenty of room for myself and my 6 kids. The kitchen was well-stocked so we could cook all of our meals. It was very clean and fully ready for us. The kids enjoyed the selection of board games. The home is just a short easy walk from the beach and very close to town. It's on a very quiet street and the beach is just beautiful and perfect for lots of social distancing. We were easily able to keep to ourselves the entire time. The only suggestion I have is to please upgrade the cable boxes-they are very old and outdated technology and only a couple grainy channels were available. Would have been so nice to have more selection of channels and a channel list posted in the home. Please upgrade the tv's and cable and this place will be perfection! Thank you so much!!

Our group had two lovely stays at Beach Time House. The accommodations exceeded our expectations: The beds are very comfortable, the entire home is incredibly clean, everything and more that you need in the kitchen, AND incredible ocean front views! I truly look forward to going back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Beach Time. The views of the beach are absolutely breathtaking. It has access to the beach from the backyard. The house was very clean and tastefully decorated. The kitchen was well stocked and we prepared all meals their even though there are great restaurants nearby. I’ve stayed at many beach homes over the years and this is my favorite. We’ll be back!

We had a group of eight with couples and singles, and we were nicely accommodated. The view of the beach and ocean is incredible. Lots of boat and beach watching. Saw many seals in the surf. Easy access to the beach with great agate finding. Very clean and well maintained home. Lots of space for food storage and you can store equipment you bring in the big garage. The only thing I missed was a fire pit by the house. The hot tub was a wonderful treat as well.

This house looks exactly like the pictures, I was afraid that the pictures looked too good to be true, but they are spot on!!! A wonderful house to spend time at the beach in. We took our 3 adult kids and their families and the house had room for everyone to have their own space. It has a well stocked kitchen (the second oven was not working, even after emailed instructions from the office on how to use it (I think that the touch pad needs to be fixed), but there was another oven that did work. There are beach toys, board games, puzzles, everything that you could possibly need for a lovely vacation. I can not say enough about how beautiful the house is and the view is amazing!!!! As soon as I got home I booked our time again next year, we can't wait to go back!!!

Easily a 5 star review. The house was beautiful with views exactly like in the pictures. It easily accommodated 10 people with kids (and a grandma) in the bunk beds. Place was very clean and nicely furnished. A couple of notes, just to give advice to future renters. The kitchen was very well equipped, much better than typical rental places, with multiple cooking pans, knives etc. Also, the private path from the house down to the beach is pretty steep (you should read the description in the house of how it nearly fell into the sea before the cliff was rebuilt), and not see easy for young kids or older people. However, there is very easy beach access literally a few minutes walk north, so this wasn't a problem at all. A wonderful stay and we hope to return.

Beach Time was perfect for what our family needed. There were 11 of us staying and there was adequate space for all of us. The beach access and hot tub were awesome. The house was also well-equipped and had everything we needed. We would stay again for sure!!

We couldn't have asked for a better equipped or more comfortable home to stay in. It felt like staying at a friend's house without the friend at home. Only negative is walking to the beach can be a bit nerve wracking when there isn't any shoulder or sidewalk. After the first time or two we started driving to avoid the possibility of getting hit by a careless driver. Beach access isn't far. The views from this house are amazing! Lots of places to sit and listen and watch the ocean. Highly recommend this home and hope to return one day.

We came over as a family of 8 adults and one kido along with a dog and we had such a great time! Cindy was very quick to respond via text message with any questions. She had mentioned that guest prior had said the heat didn't work, but we had no problems at all sure some of the areas are very large so it took a bit longer to heat up especially with such big windows in the home but it's also winter time so that was expected. The home is plenty big for this many adults and was fully stocked with plenty of towels and so many blankets! It felt like we were right at home and an easy walk to the beach access we will for sure be going back in the summer when we could venture more! We enjoyed a lovely visit to Rockaway Beach at Brass Bell Cottage. The cottage was comfortable, clean, and the kitchen was exceptionally well stocked with cooking tools and implements. The street is quiet and walkable, the beach and parks are a short walk away. Close enough for sunset pictures every night, and blackberry picking if you're there at the right time of year. The area is a drive away from a number of different beaches, restaurants, fresh seafood, and nice little grocery stores. It was a good time, thank you!

Quaint house but the pictures were a bit deceptive. Did not like having to use a step stool to literally climb in and out of the bed rather than getting out on the side like a normal bedroom would have it. Shower was to small even for me and I'm on the smaller side so I can imagine how hard it was for my honey to shower in there. Also didn't like that there wasn't an actual sofa to sit on and cuddle on while we watched TV and watched the storm, would have been more cozy. Didn't like that there was no dedicated parking for the house either. Will book with the company again but definitely not at the Breeze Cottage.

This sweet, cozy, and comfy little cottage sits just a short walk from the beach! You can see the Pacific Ocean from inside the cottage and hear the ocean waves from the deck or if you open the windows! With it's location, approximately half the way in between Depoe Bay and Lincoln City, all the shopping and restaurants are with in a very short drive! Wish we could have stayed longer!

Quaint little cottage. Tucked back between two house, it can be a little tricky to locate at first. There is plenty of parking on the road. Fireplace was a great little bonus. Bed was surprisingly comfy. Hot water in the shower was nice and warm and didn't have to wait for it. There was no beach access during our stay. No big deal though, we found different places to enjoy the sand. No WiFi. Once again not a big deal. You can sit in the rocking chairs and enjoy the beautiful ocean. Porch was small but adequate. Perfect for a weekend getaway!

House was very nice and good size. Upstairs bonus room perfect for family time with shuffle board, tv and plenty of seating. Kitchen was well equipped. Furniture and beds were very comfortable. Plenty of towels and bedding. Easy walk to the beach, though no sidewalks (just watch out for cars). We had 2 dogs. Thank you for allowing pets!!! No grass area in yard, only patio and rocks. Needed to walk them in others yards. BBQ would have been nice, but made due without it. Would definitely recommend this house!!!

This was a great home for us particularly for the reason it allowed 2 dogs. Only a few minor suggestions: 1) it would be helpful to detail the best pathway to the beach as it is not readily apparent. Perhaps a memo with the property would help. 2) Sharp knives were not available (we might be spoiled, but cutting vegetables was difficult at best and dangerous to some extent), 3) no mention of recycling was found so we ended up throwing glass and cans in the garbage. It seemed wasteful to us. See, they were only minor suggestions as this house was a delight for our entire family. OBV did great job of keeping us informed and keeping the process simple.

This property has a great view of the ocean from the family room and the master bedroom. It was clean and fully stocked. The beds are also pretty comfortable. Deer pass by, and even hang out nearby, so that was a bonus for the whole family. The movie collection is quite extensive, which is great. However, with the way the television, dvd player and tuner are set up in the loft, I couldn't figure out how to actually watch movies up there, but it wasn't a big deal. We enjoyed spending Christmas here, and I'm sure we'll come back.

My family stayed at Calypso and loved it! The ocean views were amazing, and the master bedroom had a sweeping ocean view. The kitchen was stocked with any appliance or tool you could ask for, there was plenty of room for all of us to move about comfortably, and the movie options were endless! It is located in a quiet area and was a short walk down the street to the beach. The only thing we would have changed is the furniture in the living room. It wasn't super comfortable and didn't seat as many as we would have wanted to have a movie night.

This is my 3rd stay at this house and my family absolutely loves it! It is surprisingly spacious and great for groups of people with kids. We love sitting on the back deck and listening to the ocean. The furniture is all very comfortable and inviting. I inquired about the beds as there were a couple reviews about the beds being uncomfortable (that has not been my experience but I only slept in one of the 3) and was told the owner will be upgrading them this week.

We really enjoyed our stay. The Crow's Nest was charming, roomy, clean, and a great spot for whale-watching. There was plenty of room and bathrooms for the 10 of us. The views from the deck, bedrooms, and from the upper story window seats were spectacular. We saw whales our first night and several other times. The neighborhood is beautiful and quiet. We enjoyed having beach access. The dining room table was big enough for group meals and for games. Everything was ready for our arrival. We would definitely stay again.

Excellent place to stay to enjoy the restful quiet beach when not enjoying the hot tub, deck and homey atmosphere of this very relaxed home. Kids love being close to the ocean and playing in the sand building forts to hide in. Wonderful place for a family vacation or for just a couple. Well stocked kitchen appliances and utensils but also close to Waldport for supplies and good food at the Flounder Inn as well as close to Newport for fresh crab and many restaurants.

The location of this house is really nice, just over the dune from the beach. The deck and hot tub are its best features. The house is comfortable and the furniture is adequate but not fancy. We were only there for a few days but it felt like we were coming back home. The guest house was immaculately kept and was full of homey decoration touches that you seldom find in a rental. The host (owner) couple were EXTREMELY gracious and a delight to get to know. The accommodations and hosts made for a delightful time that I have never experienced in all my previous travels. If we venture back, we will definitely look to stay here again.

My friend and I had a wonderful time staying at the guest house. We were a little surprised to see that the owners were directly next door, but they were very friendly and accommodated. Overall we had a great experience, but some of the features, or lack thereof, within the house made for interesting times. We noticed that there was only one knife that we could use, which for some of our meals made things a little complicated. We also had to "college" our way through the meals as well since only a large rectangular electric skillet and a couple of pots available but no stove top. However, even with those 2 minor inconveniences, we had a wonderful time in the cozy guest house. Would definitely stay there again. Great beach access and great weather.

This is a comfortable and peaceful place to stay. My husband and I stayed for five nights and this guest house met our expectations. I was impressed with the landscaping. Outside, the landscaping is maintained and beautiful. After entering through the electronic gate, you pass over a small creek that flows down past the cut lawn into a wooded area down to the ocean. After parking and walking across the driveway, there are a few low, and wide gradual steps of cedar wood that take you up to a wide stone garden pathway around the home, with cedar deck steps going up to the main guest house entrance that is part of a covered patio extending into a long deck along the house and guest house on the ocean side. In the cottage, the bed was very comfortable, and it is possible to lay in bed and watch the ocean all day if you want, downstairs or upstairs. There is a small, compact refrigerator under the counter top in the kitchen for drinks and a coffee maker as well. All of the rooms were clean with everything in great working order. I gave 4/5 stars due to no common area to sit and visit inside except the kitchen table. The homeowners were warm, welcoming and friendly. If you are trying to avoid the surrounding noise from motels and need a quiet place to relax, to see and hear the ocean, this is the place to go.

March 19 - March 23, 2019 Cozy cottage? Understatement! No other words describe the serenity! The view? Captivating! Celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary. Wish we could have stayed longer; would have, but booked. Stunning sunsets every evening. Cooked every night; kitchen was perfect. Viewed at least a dozen whale spouts every day. One day, witnessed whales breaching (at a distance, not super close, but sun was perfect to see their silhouette); was spectacular. We’ll be back! Thank you for sharing your stunning cottage!

My husband booked this great little romantic cottage for the two of us and our dog, Maggie, for a very special getaway for my birthday. It has everything you will need and was super clean, well-stocked, and thoughtfully decorated. We felt very comfortable in every way. You can tell that the owners take pride in ownership and keep the cabin well maintained. The bed is super comfy and the bathroom roomy. We spent quite a bit of time on the huge deck soaking up the sun and watching the whales blow not too far offshore. We even saw a bald eagle fly by. We enjoyed the many wonderful restaurants that are not too far away and loved hiking the plentiful trails between Newport and Yachats. The only thing that would have made this the perfect spot would have been beach access which really is a short distance south on 101. We did not feel comfortable walking on the side of the road so we would always drive. Seal Rocks beach is unbelievably prehistoric looking and crowd free. Park at the Curtis beach entrance for a wonderful walk south to Seal Rocks. It's a round trip walk of around 2 miles as there are no access point along the way to get back up to the road. We spent four nights and this is one of those places that we know we will come back to. About restaurants...in Newport try Clearwater, Local Ocean and Georgie's. In Waldport the Hilltop Cafe and Bistro is the bomb! All in all a great time and a wonderfully romantic little cottage. By the way the weather guessers were saying heavy rain! Well they guessed wrong and we had sun and more sun. This was in late April...

This cottage is NESTLED in a magical garden on the sea cliff and gives a wonderous sense of solitude. Upon entering, you are siimply drawn to the deck and mezmerized by the waves, the whales, the sea breezes and the unmatched sunsets! Although rainy parts of the day, the sun always seemed to shine and I was blessed seeing a RAINBOW over the ocean...not just once, but EVERY SINGLE MORNING!! It's so easy to go shopping, eat fantasic seafood, browse the local wood carving shop or grab some delicious ice cream nearby. The full kitchen makes it easy to stay here for longer time than you had most likely booked, so I will be returning and bringing my dog next time! Crisp, clean interior is charming and very accomodating. It is truly a rejuvenating experience, one that will certainly remain UNFORGETTABLE. Make new memories here, it's well worth it!!

"Beautiful location. Would have been nice to have known where the crab pot was. We searched everywhere and finally gave in to driving up to Newport to Fred Meyer and buying the largest pot we could find. Came back and after one more look found it in a cabinet outside of the kitchen that we had checked earlier but it was stuck and thought it was just a facade and not an actual cabinet. We stayed here after cancelling a ( supposedly high end ) hotel reservation. Nice surprise! It was older, with much deferred maintenance obvious, but decently prepared and more than adequate. Very restful and quiet, with a nice view. Loved the covered parking. Only real problem was the door to the deck (lock stuck) and hot tub location. We had a nice time and will come here again!

Awesome place with lots of outside privacy. Enjoying a fire in the back yard and the dogs are safe with it being fully fenced. There is a BBQ and pic nic table outside, we enjoyed our dinner there. There were plenty of dishes and kitchen supplies to feed an army. The beach is only 4 short blocks and everything else is within walking distance. Rooms and decorations are better than the photos. I highly recommend this house. I will be back!

This house had a cheerful welcoming appeal from the moment we walked in. Soft colors of paint, wallpaper, furniture, and nic nacs were cleverly integrated throughout. Thought was put into the supplies including games, books, and toys for the toddlers. Not only were there 5 bedrooms, but three other sleeping areas, the living room hide-a-bed, and two beds in separate nooks off of the upstairs hallway.

We had a toilet leak within a few hours of arrival that required maintenance to come out the following morning, doorway from kitchen to living room was missing large piece of wood making it very jagged, toilet paper holder was completely rusted, wallpaper was coming off the walls, ran out of toilet paper, paper towels and soap so we had to buy our own...not a problem but would have been nice to know they didn't stock those items at the house. House is in a good location and was big enough for our large group but it's very outdated and needs some upgrades/improvements.

Our family of four had a wonderful time at this rental. It was perfect! Quiet neighborhood with amazing access to the estuary beach. We even saw the famous herd of elk that live in the protected lands around the estuary from a bedroom window one morning. We already want to plan our next visit.

We absolutely loved this home! It was clean, the kitchen had everything we needed, great location, quiet and the deck had a great view of the sunsets at night. The pictures don't show this, but we had a great surprise to find a foosball and ping pong for game night. This is a wonderful home for family. We hope it's available for our next coast visit. The experience of our stay was very relaxing and accommodating. This lovely two story home allows for adults to relax upstairs with the open floor plan while separate from the kids to enjoy their own personal space with personal full bath and room with Xbox 360 games WiFi and bunkbeds downstairs. Garage has a mini air hockey table as additional entertainment. Walk to the beach is short and enjoyable three blocks. I will definitely stay here again and take advantage of the upper floor deck that has a gas BBQ! BBQ with a view! How relaxing! Centrally located to outlet mall, casino and the beach.

The location is great, a minute walk to the beach, less crowded too compared to Cape Kiwanda area. What's great: 1. Location! 2. Fully stocked kitchen. We're amazed! 3. Working dishwasher. 4. Baby gates. We appreciate how the owners thought of the kids' safety. There was one inside the house up the stairs and another on the deck. So thoughtful! Could use some improvement: 1. Lines. Some pillow cases and blankets felt sticky. 2. The house smelled musty when we first came in. 3. AC unit. It was hot and sunny when we visit and we could use a good air conditioning when it's super hot and humid out. 4. The outdoor light outside is broken. 5. The TV on the 1st level bedroom was not working. Overall, we'll stay on this location again and will definitely recommend to friends and family.

We had a wonderful 4-night stay in August 2018. A perfect location near all our favorite beach places, but tucked away with easy access to a perfect beach. I'm always skeptical from the photos, but this place was even better in person. The kitchen was well stocked with all the tools needed to cook a family meal to share. We didn't even drive anywhere for days because between the cozy house and the wonderful beach we were happy where we were. Thanks and we hope to come back soon and visit the neighbor cats too!

This was our first time staying here but won't be the last. Our family had such a great time. The beach access was only one house away. So perfect when we carried our chairs there for the day. Which were provided at the house. We enjoyed playing board games, ping pong and watching movies when it was rainy out. We brought food and found everything we needed in the kitchen when we were cooking. It was a memorable weekend. I can't wait to go back.

What a great house in a great location! The beach is virtually private, had it to ourselves all 3 times we took the very short walk down there. The road in front is perfect for our boys to ride bikes without the worry of traffic. We loved the open floor plan of the house, and every amenity and more is available at Fantasia! Great movie selection also. Just minutes to Pacific City, quiet street, dog friendly, super close beach access, and a great family home means we will be back and will very much look forward to it!

This house was quaint and comfortable! Great to have your dogs with a fenced backyard and access from the top deck! Cozy living room with a master downstairs. All the amenities you could ask for when entertaining and cooking your own meals! So close to the beach you don't need to drive just walk out your front door! We will definitely be coming back!

We had family come in from Utah and Idaho so there was 5 adults, 1 adolescent, one 15 month old and one dog. The child gate worked great for the stairs for the baby and the senior dog we had with us. I didn't expect the beach access to be so close, that was great. Lot's of wild life walking around. The house is clean and decorated very nice. It was very comfortable, friendly and accessible. Only suggestion I would have would be a child safety gate for the back porch.

Our family of 5 plus 1 dog had the pleasure of spending a weekend at this cabin. Very spacious and quiet. With bedrooms upstairs as well as the master on the downstairs there is plenty of privacy-the kids loved the ping pong table. The close proximity to the ocean-1/2 block at most make it ideal for easy access to the beach. The kitchen is well stocked for any type of meal or snack you will be cooking up. We will stay here again- we highly recommend this comfortable get away!

Nice place for a reasonable price. Very close to the beach. Easy 1 block walk. WiFi is sketchy and no cellular service at the house, neither of which is the homeowners fault. A few more bath towels would have been helpful. The house is homey and has many extras (BBQ, Fire pit, lawn chairs, a deck, ping pong, fully stocked kitchen and DVDs). We really enjoyed our stay and would rent this house again.

"My wife and I stayed in this wonderful home for a week in June 2018. The sunsets were spectacular. The house is comfortable with an unobstructed view of the ocean. It is so quiet in the evening all you hear are the waves. Shopping and restaurants are minutes away. Be sure to visit the light house about 15 minutes away, the views are fabulous. We saw whales and numerous species of birds. There are many attractions up and down the coast this is an excellent location for short tips north or south like the Tillamook Cheese factory. We were lucky enough to stay in this lovely home in February for winter storms. What a view and the weather did not let us down! Amazing wind and waves were enjoyed while walking the beach or from the safety and warmth of the home. Special pluses of the house were the separate bedrooms and baths, each couple had privacy and those who enjoyed sleeping late were not disturbed while morning folks enjoyed that early cup of coffee and the views from the kitchen. Since the weather was blustery we especially enjoyed the upstairs game room for puzzles, cards and streaming movies. We look forward to enjoying Newport again and all it has to offer

We stayed at this property last July, and it was our favorite vacation last year. The views from all parts of the house are beautiful, especially at sunset. We were very comfortable - one of our kids slept in the guest room, and one on the fold out couch in the upstairs den. The house is well equipped, and we cooked a majority of our meals instead of going out. We were steps from the beach, and what a beach! It went on for miles, and we spent a lot of time walking the beach and flying kites. The town has a great kite shop, and our two teenagers found kites that kept them busy during the vacation. This is a great starting point for coast drives, both down the coast and up. I had never been to the Oregon coast before, and it was breathtaking. We are planning a return trip.

Unbelievably beautiful home on one of the most serene, peaceful beaches I have ever seen! Stayed there for four days in August 2018, and cannot wait to go back.... From the moment we walked in the front door, our jaws dropped, pictures just cannot do justice to the panorama that awaits you. The kitchen, living areas, bedrooms, all share a sweeping, magnificent view of the Pacific Ocean and long sandy beaches. The home is extremely open and inviting, the kitchen well stocked, and the bedrooms large, clean and inviting. Everything you need is there! We had two friends from Corvalis come to join us for dinner the first night, relaxing at dinner and watching the sunset, was magical. They are planning on coming back with their entire family this summer. There is plenty to explore during the day, restaurants to enjoy at night, great shops nearby with a nice selection of fresh foods and anything else you could ever need. Personally, I enjoyed the quiet relaxation and sound of the surf more than anything else. My only regret is that we only had four days to spend, needed more!

Thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night mini vacation this week. Very clean house, with a great view and use of a 1st rate BBQ, well stocked kitchen, and large 2nd floor deck. Gorgeous view of Twin Rocks and steps from a wonderful empty beach. We even had warm(ish) temps and sunshine in April! Best "dog friendly" housing so far! Look forward to our next trip here.

Great 3 bedroom house on the bay. nice quiet area with a park and sandy beaches just a few blocks away. Great for kids and dogs. If you really want to dare the waves their just a short car ride over the bridge with plenty of public parking. The house its self had everything you need and was very clean. My mother asked to take her to Seaside, a vacation my father and her would take each year. He is passed now and I found Jim’s House which she was more that happy her beloved pet could join us. We all enjoyed our time, especially her in Jim’s House. House was roomy, comfortable and within walking distance to beach (4 houses from prom) and few blocks to the city center. Nice views from the deck with a lot going on along the inlet the home faces with birds, fish, and water mammals. Many species of birds to be viewed close up in the yard and going about their lives in the backyards and woods of neighboring properties. There is a narrow strip of land from the home to the a small landing on the lake. We tried fishing, but it wasn't until evening that we had success with two nice trout caught on night crawlers. We had some minor maintenance issues that were promptly taken care of by company staff. We will likely return to this home again, but I'm sure we will use this company again as we were impressed by their responsiveness and courtesy. They were a pleasure to deal with. This can be a problem when renting directly from some owners.

Very nice place - it was very comfortable, clean. Really pretty view of lake from deck and living rm/kitchen. Can enclose the deck for dogs. Only down side is no access to fenced yard from inside the house - have to go out thru front porch. Some traffic noise. Nice area for long walks. We would stay there again. We enjoyed our stay.

Sweeping landscape lake and hills views out every window brought us instant calm. 5 outdoor decks/spaces right on the property gave us all our own places to take breaks in nature. Steps to coffee, food, & beach meant we parked our car and didn't drive it for a week! Everything we needed was right in this home for 4 + our pup. Every day we played on the beach, paddled on the lake, played air hockey and table tennis and pool on in-house table, biked or walked everywhere, walked our dog to the city park, made our own meals, hot tubed every night, logged into the tv system and watched a family movie! This place met all our needs and then some! The house was very comfortable and included all the amenities needed for an amazing time with family. The beach is just two blocks away, plenty of restaurants to order from within walking distance, and two stores just a couple blocks away for necessities. The 3-N-1 air hockey, pool, and ping pong table was fun for everyone (dart board also!). The hot tub was a great way to relax after long walks on the beach. Each night we enjoyed a bond fire on the beach, s’mores, and a beautiful sunset. In the end, we didn’t want to leave and will be booking again soon!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this gorgeous beach house. It's very comfortable, spotlessly clean, well-stocked, private and quiet. The view was perfection - what a fun surprise to see so many whales! It was the perfect spot to make dinner and enjoy wine with a gorgeous sunset. We really never wanted to leave. :-) The rooms are perfect for three couples and kiddos. The kids loved the playroom and the bunk beds. The beach is a bit of a walk but not too far and a quick drive if preferred. We would absolutely recommend this house and would return.

Love, Love this place! Took my mom for her 80th birthday and we couldn't get over the view. The condo was perfect! We each had our own bath- so important and the kitchen, dining and living rooms were comfortable and all areas were clean and modern. The location and proximity to everything we needed was walkable. I had an amazing stay! The condo was just steps from the beach, and Newport could not be a more perfect town. I loved all of the clam chowder and the little bit of heaven was the perfect place to go after a long day. Wifi has been installed and there are gorgeous ocean views. This place was perfect for our visit and the views are just amazing. We enjoyed the porch and comfy bedrooms. There was plenty of heat to keep us toasty warm, but we mostly enjoyed the fireplace. The walk to town and the beach was easy enough. We loved eating at Nana's, but so did everyone else. It's more than worth the wait. We look forward to another escape to Michael's Beach Place.
