It is also a strong month for events and seasonal traditions. Lincoln City kicks off the holidays with Deck the Dock, Newport brings the Oregon Coast Art Show and a symphony concert, while Seaside hosts the Fall Wine Walk, UkeFest, Iron Chef Goes Coastal, and the Yuletide Parade of Lights. Deck the Dock

Lincoln City, Oregon

Lincoln City kicks off the holiday season at Taft Dock with holiday lights, entertainment, and a festive community atmosphere. Arrival of Santa and Mrs. Claus escorted by the North Lincoln Fire Rescue and Lincoln City Police Department. It is one of the strongest November events in the area and a natural fit for a Lincoln City holiday weekend.

Confederated Tribes of Siletz Indians Restoration Pow-Wow

Lincoln City, Oregon

This important cultural gathering honors the anniversary of the restoration of federal recognition to the Confederated Tribes of Siletz Indians and takes place at Chinook Winds Casino Resort. It is a meaningful addition to any Lincoln City visit, especially for travelers interested in local heritage and community traditions.

Oregon Coast Art Show

November 14-15, 2026
Newport, Oregon

Held at the Newport Recreation Center, this regional arts and crafts event brings together local and visiting artists for a weekend of browsing and discovery. Artists may take part in up to three ways—a vendor booth, a workshop at the Recreation Center, or a workshop from a Newport studio. With roughly 900 visitors each year, it is one of the more popular November events in Newport.
