Storm and whale watching is popular along the Southwestern Oregon coast.

Shore Acres State Park, Bastendorff Beach County Park, Cape Arago State Park and Simpson’s Reef Overlook offer outstanding views of waves and whales.

From November through May, you can view the migration of gray whales form the Arctic Sea to Baja California and back.
