Oregon Beach Vacations

Fall is the perfect time to get away to the Oregon Coast. The weather is still nice and the crowds are gone. Snuggle up with a good book or take a nice long walk on the miles of public beaches that are unique to the Oregon coast.

Many families have made it a tradition to spend Thanksgiving at the beach. A house or condo is the perfect “home away from home” to kick off the holiday season. Most coastal towns have traditional celebrations and events scheduled for the Thanksgiving weekend.

Iris Pride Festival Lincoln City, OR	Schedule of Events Join Lincoln City in celebrating its Third Annual Iris Pride Festival! This colorful Fairytale themed event will include drag shows, "Family Feud", Clambake, Flamingo Bingo, a street fair., Drag show and more!

SOLV Great Oregon Fall Beach Cleanup Florence, OR	More Information SOLV started the Great Oregon Beach Cleanup over 25 years ago to help make the beaches more beautiful and inviting. The cleanup also helps coastal wildlife. Whales, seals and sea lions, sea birds, sea turtles and fish can become fatally entangled in garbage such as discarded fishing line or plastic. Garbage may also be ingested. Small pieces of styrofoam or plastic jugs, balloons or plastic bags are often mistaken for food. To participate in the cleanup, show up at 10:00 am on Saturday, September 25 at one of the 43 meeting sites along the Oregon Coast.

Chowder, Blues & Brews Florence, OR	Schedule of Events The annual festival offers food booths plus microbrews from some of the best breweries in the Northwest. The Oregon Coast Professional Chowder Cook-off People's Choice tasting starts at 1 p.m. on Saturday. Live blues music.

November 5-7
22nd annual Stormy Weather Arts Festival Cannon Beach, OR	Schedule of Events Cannon Beach presents a weekend of art, music, potters, sculptors, cuisine, dancers and more. Throughout the weekend, shops, restaurants and galleries will be hosting music, art, and literary events. Friday November 5 is the famous Quick Draw Event, where selected artists have one hour to complete a masterpiece. Quick Draw tickets will go on sale Monday, September 14, at 10 am. Tickets are limited. The rest of the weekend also features an art walk, open mic night, art gallery receptions, movement workshops, photography exhibits, and much more!

Coastal Celtic Music Festival Yachts, OR	Schedule of Events Once a year, the very best and brightest of the Celtic music world descend on Yachats for a weekend of incredible music, dance, art and craic. Now in it's tenth year, the festival features world renowned acts.
