Oregon Beach Vacations is seeking a full-time reservation agent for our Seaside Branch Office. This position is customer service oriented and requires communicating to hundreds of different individuals in a pleasant and prompt manner. The main communication for this position stems from phone calls (50%) and emails (50%), and so we're looking for someone who is enjoyable over the phone and also well-written.

This position can be both full-time or part-time depending on the applicant. In addition to working in a beautiful recently renovated office with your own desk, this position is in a growing industry with opportunity for advancement. The benefits we include with this position are:

Seaside Branch Manager

General Purpose of Position – To oversee, direct and guide the proper functions of the Seaside branch, which supports the quarterly, annual and long-term goals of the company. To join together all departments within the branch to ensure mission statement is being followed and goals are being met. The Branch Manager is ultimately responsible for ensuring the performance of all departments within the branch. The Branch Manager is a role model and leader, and must provide training and support to Department Managers as needed.

Primary Responsibilities

1. Program Development/Management/Administration

a) Assist in the recruitment and hiring of the most qualified department managers to meet the company’s needs.

b) Working with Department Managers and the Director of Operations, assist in developing and refining departmental guidelines and manuals for each of the departments.

c) Administer company policies, as established by operation manuals and departmental guidelines and manuals.

d) Ensure each department is meeting short-term and long-term goals as supplied by the Director of Operations.

e) Respond to homeowner communications in a timely manner, facilitating investigations and research as needed to resolve owner needs.

f) Attend meetings with Department Managers bi-monthly to assess goals status and develop daily practices to support goals.

g) Ensure proper channels of communication exist between the Branch and the various Departments.

h) Oversee compliance of Assistant Managers and Department Managers with established Company Policies and standards.

i) Oversee compliance of Property Management Agreement throughout the company.

j) Provide support to Assistant Managers and Department Managers when problems or issues require additional support. Defer to the Director of Operations when in need of support.

k) Understand County and City Regulations pertaining to VRD Requirements. Establish polices throughout the Company to ensure all VRD Requirements are met.

l) Establish and maintain relationships with County and City VRD Departments on behalf of the Company to support a quality image of the Company with these entities.

m) Assist the Director of Operations in writing and facilitating owner, guest and staff surveys. Information gathered from surveys to be used to increase overall service levels and meet company goals.

n) Pursue the best financial and legal outcomes for the Seaside Branch’s operation.

o) Other Duties as assigned.

2. Information/Education

a) Conduct orientation, train and coach the management staff in the execution of daily tasks to ensure the day-to-day operations of Branch Office.

b) Provide VRD Regulation trainings to Assistant Mangers.

c) Ensure that the housekeeping training methods and policies given to us by Steve Craig are being properly followed to ensure 5-Star Cleaning Standards in all of our units. Bi-Lingual training programs to be established.

3. Reports To

The Seaside Branch Manager reports to the Director of Operations.

Salary: $35,360.00 to $43,680.00 /year
