Family Vacation

"The house is beautiful. The beach is a short walk away. Great neighborhood close to lots of fun activities. We all had a great time and will defiantly be returning to this home!"

Couples Retreat

"Spent a great getaway with friends over the weekend. The house had plenty of room for 5 couples. We cooked some amazing meals and felt close to the places we wanted to visit. The only issue was that the washer was out of order so we couldn't wash clothing after some of us went into the ocean for the cold experience. Bedrooms were perfect and spacious. No issues with hot water or electronics and the game room was a blast for some Foosball and ping pong tournaments. We would definitely stay there again and felt we got our monies worth. "

Family Reunion

"Our family (4 siblings, spouses and teenage children) spent a week here and loved it! We were already talking about coming back before the end of our stay. It was immaculately clean and no musty smells from being closed up. The home had plenty of room for the 10 of us; a huge plus is the chairs on the back and front decks which allowed for some smaller group visits. The kitchen had absolutely everything you could think of to feed a group this large; baking dishes, pots and pans that weren't warped, a crock pot and electric griddle! The bedrooms were comfortable and had plenty of storage for a long stay. The teenagers loved the game room and spent most of their time down there catching up with each other and only came up to use the bathroom, eat or travel to sight see or go to the beach. It's an easy walk to the beach. We were there before Father's Day weekend and had the beach mostly to ourselves. We will definitely be coming back."

"Our family had a wonderful stay at the Santosha by the Sea. The house is bigger than it looks in the picture and has a nice layout. Also sits back off the road so it is nice and quiet. Everything was as you hope it would be when renting a home. I have stayed in homes where they do not even supply salt and pepper shakers. We were pleasantly surprised at the well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, and other amenities. The only negative is no view. However, the beach is close and we walked there several times a day. The entire family loved our stay here and will definitely come again."

"Great location to explore the coast from Newport to Lincoln City. Stayed with 12 great friends and had an amazing week "

Mike F. from Winchester, 02/28/2017

"We planned an "adult only" get away so we were looking for a home that had a hot tub, queen or larger beds in all the rooms and several bathrooms...this home was EXACTLY that! The home is exactly as it looks in pictures, it was clean and equipped with everything we needed and was a 5 min walk from the beach. We all loved this home and can't wait to stay here again! "

Geena M. from Tualatin, 04/25/2017

"We booked this house for the 5 couples that make up our church community group. This house was awesome, with only a couple things we would have liked see.

The good: this was the best stocked kitchen I've seen for cookware and utensils, the bedrooms and bathrooms were nice and comfy, the house is a short walk to the beach and the parking at the house is great.
The not as good: we would have liked more folding chairs since the dining table only seats 6 (it was hard to play games with people in bar stools), and it would have been nice to have a barbecue. ;o)

Overall, this house was awesome for a group of adults and we would book it again. "

"The home was a very nice and beautiful place to stay. Our family enjoyed the short walk to the beach and the warm weather. I would love to stay here again for another vacation! "

"We had a nice stay. Loved having a huge dinning room table, so we could all fit for crafts and games. The living room furniture and beds were VERY comfortable. We had fun playing foos ball and ping/pong. We would stay again, well worth the little things. I would suggest letting future renters know... there are A LOT, A LOT of stairs. Also, be more specific as to which lock box to use (there are 2). PS. Have housekeeping wash down the cabinets and make sure the dish washer has been started and emptied. "

"This house was a perfect location for a staff retreat. It was very attractive, clean, and well-equipped. Our only complaint was that the connection to the internet did not work, despite repeated attempts to solve the problem."

"House was great but no yard for little kids. Beach access a few blocks away but rocky hill access difficult for mom with infant in a carrier and adult with knee injury. We drove to an easier beach in Lincoln City. Dishwasher was not functional but we had enough people to do dishes so not a big problem. I reported it on Monday but not fixed when we left on Thursday. I know that can happen though, nobody's fault. Great living space, couches for everyone. Lots of dishes, nice oven. Kitchen and bathrooms were stocked with supplies to start. Nice hot tub. Sliding Door restaurant very close and very good. We did love the house. Master suite felt private and awesome! Whale watching in Depoe Bay and aquarium in Newport were big hits with kids."

"Santosha is a very nice house for a family vacation. It does not have a view and the neighbors are very close. The house needs some TLC for sure. The layout of the house is very nice for a large group of people. "

"We had a wonderful time at the Oregon coast."

Marcelo C. from Beaverton, 10/10/2017

"The lay out of this property is great for couple groups and for girlfriend gatherings. The house is nicely appointed. We did arrive with an error code on the dishwasher (not functioning) which was clearly a problem prior to our stay. The rental co was not terribly forthcoming or proactive in rectifying the problem (A service person was on site upon our arrival, but the problem did not get resolved nor were we informed about the situation) This was a little frustrating. Otherwise the home is cozy and layout is optimal for groups like ours. I would recommend this property with caviat. "
