Recent Reviews About This Property

Comfortable and Convenient

"This place was very comfortable. Nice location, just a couple blocks from the beach and the main downtown. We were able to walk everywhere. We also enjoyed being close driving distance to Astoria, Gearhart and Cannon Beach. The house was clean. Minimal necessities, but we didn't need much. The rooms are very big and it was nice to have two full bathrooms upstairs with a half bath downstairs. It was also a bonus that there was a garage that we could park our car in. The only negative was that the apartment complex across the street seemed a bit run down. Also, the front door code lock didn't work, so we had to use the lock box to get the key, which worked for us. "

Will definitely rent again!

"Perfect location. Right in the center of the city. Very cute. Perfect size for our family. We had all the comforts of home. Will definitely rent again! "

"Only complaint was the master bedroom did not have heat the vent was to high to open. Other than that when we walk into the condo it was like walking into your own home. Felt comfortable and could relax. Not like some other places we have stayed."

"This was the best mini vacation we have had with the beach house. It is exactly what it looks like. We loved that we came back to what seemed like a home. We could hang out, cook, and kids were able to play in the back yard. It is walking distance to the beach and to all the festivities downtown. The only thing I would suggest is to add a "Smores basket" and some wood even if for an extra small fee."

"Shower water pressure/temp not what I'd like but still a nice place. Great table for doing big puzzles during rainy spring weather"

"My 2 girlfriends and I went to Seaside a few weeks ago for a girl's getaway. This property was perfect for the 3 of us. There are 2 bathrooms for bathing and a powder room off the kitchen. It was clean, comfortable, stocked with all the amenities we needed for cooking and had plenty of extra towels and blankets (all very clean too). It is located 3 blocks from the beach and only 2 blocks from the main strip with all the restaurants. Very easily walkable for lots of activities. It is very easy to get in and out of, as they use a smart pad instead of keys. There is no chance to lose a key. While we were staying here, the fire alarm on the main floor started chirping due to an old battery. We called the management company and they promptly came over that day to replace it. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone wanting to stay in Seaside. It was wonderful! "

"Besides the carbon monoxide alert going off and the leaking toilet My Beach House is a great place for a family to stay for a while."

Elissa B. from Portland, 05/30/2017

"Absolutely wonderful! The location was great! We walked on the beach a couple times each day. Walked to the shops and restaurants. Close to grocery store for preparing meals at the house! Loved it!

"The townhouse itself was better than the pictures on the site, the kitchen was very nicely stocked as well as the linens. The mobile app check-in and info was so easy to use and really set this rental a part in terms of ease from other ones I have used. My only negative remark was the neighboring unit to this one was seeding the lawn, I paid a pet fee and my animal wouldn't have been able to use the yard at all. The yard is not enclosed and it is a small shared space with many other homes. Make sure you keep an eye on your pet as contact with other animals are likely. Additionally a BBQ would have been really nice. There was a manual for one, but not one there.
BONUS: We walked to everything easily and the garage was so nice to have."

"The house is gorgeous and it was no hardship to walk the dogs across the way to do their business. Our only issue is that the house got really hot with the western facing windows. We opened every window and turned on every fan while we were inside. Luckily we were outside most of the day. The garage is spacious and there were folding chairs that could be used for outside. Everything was easy to use and having coffee with a maker on site was convenient. It took only a few minutes walk to get to the beach or to downtown. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms spacious."

"Great place, central to downtown and 2 blocks from beach. Everything worked great and was easy to arrive and go. Parts of the unfit could use some updates, but very comfortable all in all. "

Brett G. from Calgary, 08/09/2017

"We had a great stay at this rental property. It was a short walk to the beach, restaurants and shopping. The house was comfortable and clean. The kitchen was stocked with everything needed to cook a meal. It was a very quiet neighborhood. We would definitely stay at this property again!"

"This house is in a great location. It's five minutes or less to walk to the beach promenade or convention center, and just a couple of minutes more to the tourist strip on Broadway, yet it's quiet and very little of the tourist traffic goes along this street.

The main floor living/kitchen area and master bedroom are spacious and comfortable. The second bedroom is fine, although with twin beds it might be small for adults much over six feet tall. With two full baths upstairs and a half-bath on the main floor, traffic jams when brushing your teeth are not a problem.

The main floor does not have a real dining table, just the kitchen island and a small table behind the sofa, but you're probably not going to Seaside to host a big formal dinner party. Cookware and dishes were all abundant, except for wine glasses, which is not surprising given how easy those are to break.

The basement garage has a low overhead entry height, which might be a limitation if you drive an enormous truck, but most vehicles should fit. It's a great place to stage your beach gear between walks to the sand.

"I was lucky enough to find this dog-friendly rental available for me and my partner, our dog, and my parents while they were visiting Oregon. Very clean, orderly, and centrally located within Seaside with a short walk to the beach"

from Portland, 09/14/2017

"We had such a great time. The Beach House was warm and cozy and kept us out of the rain. You do not need to bring a thing they have it all. Even chairs for the beach. "

from university place, 10/24/2017

"Home was clean, convenient. We had a pleasant stay. I did feel that amenities were lacking in comparison to other homes in the area such as additional blankets for winter weather, limited kitchen cookware and such. Close to promenade and local shopping on a quiet street. My only suggestion is a quick trip to Ikea for blankets, towels, hangers and kitchen items to enable a more user friendly experience. "

"Our 4th time at the Beach House- always fun and great accommodations. "
