Shell Cottage - Oregon Beach Vacations

Whether you’re a wizard-in-training or just an ordinary Muggle wanting some vacation relaxation, the Harry-Potter-themed Shell Cottage is a fantastic option for a coastal stay. Situated just two blocks from the beach in Central Lincoln City, this beautifully updated townhome has a third-floor great room with ocean views from the sky-high balcony, where you can watch the sun set over the Pacific on comfy cushioned chairs. Two plush couches face a gas fireplace and a giant TV with a DVD player and an assortment of movies (including the Harry Potter films, of course). A beautiful kitchen with a gas stove and stainless-steel appliances has access to a back balcony with views north to Cascade Head. The middle floor has a pretty queen suite with a private balcony, TV and walk-in shower. The kids get their own room, with twin bunk beds plus an extra twin, their own TV, sliders to another balcony, and Hogwarts touches they’ll love.

You can walk to miles of sandy beach in minutes. It’s also an easy stroll to the Oceanlake shopping district, where you’ll find an old-fashioned movie theater, a bakery, Bob’s Beach Books, Prehistoric, bars and dining, and even a Harry Potter café called the Cheeky Cauldron.

You don’t need to be a Potter fan to enjoy a wonderful stay in Shell Cottage. But if you are, your trip to the beach will be extra magical, courtesy of the sly details in this three-story home!
