Come hike the 2.7-mile loop near Pacific City, Oregon in about an hour. This easy path is pretty popular for birding and hiking, but you can still sometimes enjoy some peace if you come during a less crowded time of day. Unfortunately, dogs aren’t allowed on this trail so you’ll have to leave them at home. It is located in the refuge at Nestucca Bay, which is full of wonderful wildlife. The path takes you through the refuge where you can observe many species of birds and other native wildlife. Once you reach the end, you’ll find yourself in a clearing with spectacular views of Nestucca Bay and the surrounding area. You may even spot some whales if you come at the right time of year. Take your time and enjoy all the wonders this refuge has to offer. You won’t regret it!
