About South Beach

South Beach State Park, located near the Yaquina Bay Bridge in south Newport on the central Oregon Coast, offers visitors miles of sandy ocean beach to explore as well as walking and bicycling trails. Just south of the South Jetty, this state park is a great place to start your exploration of Newport. If you’re looking for somewhere to have fun, the campground area has a playground area, horseshoe pits, and a 9-hole disc golf course. If you need discs or horse shoes, they are available to borrow from the Hospitality Center too.
