Reviews Oregon State University’s Marine Science Center

“Great little ocean science center. Plenty of hands on exhibits and full of information. Kids had a great time. Fantastic value for a $5 donation. Advance reservations are now required though so be ready.”

“We had SO much fun! I planned a low-cost beach trip for my friend and I and this was easily one of our favorite activities. The museum is free, but donations are appreciated and available by cash and card near the entrance. The museum is small, but packed with cool stuff. There is a touch tide pool, wave simulations, and a new baby octopus! I spent an extensive amount of time playing in the touch tide pool. And the photo opportunities were unreal! I’ll be back soon, and if you go to see Newport, you have to stop here.”
