What: Beach, Bike & Blues Festival – the largest live blues music festival on the coast features 6 hours of live blues music, local food from area chefs, and craft beer from Beachcrest Brewing Company.
When: Saturday, May 4th, 12 – 7pm
Where: Alsea Bay Bridge Visitor Center & Museum
12:15pm – Old times blues featuring Paul Schuytema
2:00pm – Steve Cook and local musicians pay tribute to Lozelle Jennings and The Purple Cats
3:30pm – Blues, rock and folk favorites with Ronnie Jay Pirrello
Wrapping up the festival is the trio of Sonny Hess, Lisa Mann & Kelly Pierce
Festival attendees can choose from a wide variety of food and beverage for sale. Pepsi products, water, locally roasted coffee from The Thirsty Fisherman, wine & hard seltzer from Bigfoot Beverages, and award-winning craft beer from Beachside Brewing. BBQ ribs, tri-tip sandwiches and giant hot dogs from Ray’s BBQ, sweet treats from Chubby Lil’ Mermaid, fish & chips from Fishing Rock Eatery, ice cream sandwiches from JillyBeanz Ice Cream, and more!
The venue is dog-friendly and ADA accessible.
Beach, Bike & Blues Festival welcomes more than 800 bike racers and their friends who participate in the 12th Annual Oregon Coast Gravel Epic. Riders choose either the 38- or 62-mile course that starts in Waldport and traverses through the Siuslaw National Forest. The route ends at the Pacific Ocean on Hwy. 101 just south of Waldport.
