Gearhart Golf Links is a public course offering 18 holes of spectacular, links-style golf located in the beautiful coastal town of Gearhart, OR. They offer annual memberships, and welcome golfers of all skill levels for daily fee play.
The course opened in 1892 with only three holes strewn across the sand dunes. It is the oldest course west of the Mississippi River. The 130-year-old course was thoughtfully restored between 2013-2015 to its true links character and identity by removing the majority of the interior trees, resulting in a panoramic view of the golf course. The putting greens are firm and fast, and the now open sight lines to the surrounding mountains are breathtaking.
Golf rates are seasonal and range from $65 to $110. They also offer special rates for juniors:
13 years and under | Free (when accompanied by a paying adult) |
14-17 years old | $25 |
Students with current I.D. | $50 |
All rates posted are for 18 holes. 9-hole rates are available if space on the course is available, afternoons only.
Gearhart Golf Links is a 4-hour golf course. You will be asked to keep pace with the group in front of you, and allow faster groups to play through at the earliest opportunity. All alcoholic beverages must be purchased from The Sand Trap Pub, Pot Bunker, or Sand Bar.
Stop by for some delicious Northwest-style pub fare, or a hand-crafted beverage before or after teeing off at McMenamins Sand Trap Pub. Enjoy relaxing on the patio, or next to the firepit. Well behaved dogs are allowed outside, too! For some lively fun, check out their schedule of free music. Want to dine with an ocean view? Ask for your meal to go, and take it across the street to watch the sun set over another memorable day in Gearhart.
