No trip to Lincoln City is complete without a visit to the Oregon Coast Aquarium. Located in Newport, the aquarium offers interactive exhibits, tours, educational programs, and so much more! We guarantee kids of all ages will enjoy this immersive and captivating experience.
And now there is even more to discover and enjoy with three new attractions!
The Nature Play Area is inspired by both the coastal habitat and the former timber mill site that once operated at the site of the aquarium. Visitors can engage with nature as they clamber over giant logs, explore a faux eagle’s nest, climb a watchtower, and plunge down a meandering slide.
The Outdoor Amphitheater is a dedicated space for educational programs and animal presentations. Visitors will enjoy expansive seating and the opportunity for an up-close view of Oregon’s native species.
The scenic headwaters feature includes a recirculating stream that represents the relationship between watersheds and the ocean, highlighting the importance of headwaters and the role they play in Oregon’s precious coastal ecosystems.
The aquarium is open 364 days a year, excluding Christmas.
